Contractor-developed in-house tools can help explain to owners and design partners how delivery decisions affect costs, schedule and project complexity. Examples such as JE Dunn Lens, Dunn Dashboard, McCarthy’s Project Tracker and the CH2M’s Construction Quality Records System illustrate how firms can capture and use data on projects big and small to inform downstream decisions, assist with estimating and purchasing and confirm quality and compliance within a P3.
