Since joining the construction industry in 1998, Rebecca has held many roles during her tenure with Gilbane, such as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Regional Safety Manager, and now as Corporate Director of Safety. Rebecca has extensive experience communicating with project owners and subcontractors, facilitating meetings, training employees, incident response and providing jobsite supervision. She is also experienced in managing collection and interpretation of industrial hygiene data as well as controlling hazardous materials in the workplace. Rebecca is knowledgeable in key industrial hygiene programs such as respiratory protection, hearing conservation, radiation safety, laser safety and Hazardous Communication. Rebecca consistently looks for ways to be more efficient, continue education and increase the use of technology with respect to safety to make sure her team is doing everything possible to minimize risks and send everyone who comes on a Gilbane job site home safe. In addition, Rebecca is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers having served as the Wisconsin Chapter’s President and Women in Safety Engineering Chair.
